Wow!!!!! Another thrilling and emotional novel with Alex, Robert, and CCMC. The suspense kept me riveted to the pages. Judith Lucci paints a portrait with her characters, the setting and the story line. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Viral Intent is a gripping and compelling read by Judith Lucci that builds upon former plots and characters in her first two novels. This book further distinguishes her as an excellent thriller writer. The story begins with an unidentified viral outbreak in the emergency department where the first fatalities prove to be part of the upfront security detail for the US President. The plot builds as more people become ill and the local and federal authorities suspect either domestic or international terrorism. A tale of changing values, duplicity, terror and reward make this an excellent read. All in all, this is a well-written and compelling thriller with great drama and excellent pacing that keeps the pages turning. Highly recommended.
